2021 Convention Cycle Information
This year, the Georgia Republican Party will hold conventions to organize itself and its leadership going into the next 2 year term. It is imperative that individuals get involved in this process so that they can have a voice in the direction of The Party. This process starts at the Mass Precinct Meetings & County Convention. The Mass Precinct Meetings start the process by electing delegates to the County Convention. Each county will organize and hold a convention to elect delegates to both the District and State Conventions where we will elect District and state officers, as well as pass resolutions, statements on what we believe, and conduct other business as required. District Convention
The 3rd District Convention will be held May 15, 2021 at the Newnan Centre, Newnan, GA The proceedings will begin promptly at 10 am, so please plan to be there at 9am for registration. Anyone is welcome to attend, but only delegates may participate in the proceedings. More information will be available closer to time.

The Call of the Georgia Republican Party shall govern this call with the following additions.
Officer/State & District Committee Candidates - Individuals interested in serving as either a State or District Committee Member or an officer of the GAGOP 3rd Congressional for the next biennial shall submit an application for candidacy. Those who fail to meet these requirements shall not be considered by the Convention Nominating Committee.
In order to be considered by the nominating committee, candidates must submit their application no later than 5:00 PM on May 10, 2021, for consideration here

Submitting a Resolution - In order for a resolution to be considered by the Resolutions Committee, it must be submitted in writing in editable electronic format on or before May 10, 2021, at 5:00 PM.
DRAFT REPORT OF THE RESOLUTIONS COMMITTEE
All Resolutions shall be no more than 250 words in length. Any resolution which contains any assertion of fact must be accompanied by sufficient documentation to allow the Resolutions Committee to verify the accuracy of any such assertions. Proposed Rules Changes - In order for any rules change to be considered by the Rules Committee, it must be submitted in writing in editable electronic format on or before May 10, 2021, at 5:00 PM. Rules amendments should be emailed to district3republicans@gmail.com

State Convention
The Georgia Republican Party will hold its State Convention June 4-5, 2021 at Jekyll Island. This event is open to everyone, but only Delegates and Alternates who have been elevated to Delegate may participate in the business of the convention. Register for the State Convention
